At Casa Banderas we are in a small village with few other business or shops so we offer a 3 course meal which is served promptly at 7 every night. We don't offer a religious service with the meal but should anyone like to say grace, even in their own language, it is encouraged (we don't sing).
We offer breakfast from 6:30. Lights out is at 10 and we like pilgrims to leave by 8, but these times are negotiable. I lock at night and early leavers are free to let themselves out.
Hospitalero/hospitalera training is not necessary as this is done on the job. If you can fill in the pilgrim form, cook, make a bed, clean a loo, and sweep, what more training do you need? We have a nice room for the hospitalero /hospitalera and we share all meals with the pilgrims. Free time is generous - it is only a 10 bed albergue!
